A new open water swimming point to point challenge starting from S. Pedro Beach and finishing at Pescadores Beach, for a total of 5km.

COURSE DETAILS

A new take on the 5km swim, will see swimmers cross all the way from S. Pedro Beach, in Estoril, to the heart of Cascais Bay, at Pescadores Beach.

Both start and finish line will be on the water, with the finish line being a floating arch swimmers have to pass below.

In order to guarantee every participant’s safety, a safety buoy attached to their ankles is mandatory.

Teams of 4 elements can compete in Travessia Lisboa-Cascais 20km.

Each team must have a support boat and skipper to accompany them.

RACE LICENSE

All swimmer's must have a race license. This can either be a federation license from the Portuguese Swimming Federation (FPN) or any of their international counterparts, or even from the Portuguese Triathlon Federation (FTP) ,or a race license obtained when registered online. Please choose whichever applies when you complete your registration.

TEAM DISCOUNT

Teams with 20 or more swimmers will get a discount on registration. Bring your friends and get a closer chance at one of the team awards!

GENERAL RULES

Reading and complying with race regulations is mandatory for participation as well as ensuring every swimmer's safety.

Athletes who do not wear a wetsuit will be marked with numbers on their back, arms and hands.

RECOMMENDATIONS

The Race Regulations contain mandatory information, fundamental for a safe participation in the event. Reading and complying with the regulations is mandatory.

Training for this challenge can give you an ultimate experience. Be prepared for the great day with a training plan

Be hydrated all the time before the race to avoid moments of extreme fatigue and cramps

Travel to Cascais with time to acclimatize and adapt to the race course and venue

SERVICES

SHUTTLE

Swimmers will have access to a shuttle before and after the race that will bring them from Cascais to S. Pedro Beach. Available schedules will be communicated closer to race day.

CLOAKROOM

Swimmers will be able to leave their belongings at the start, in Estoril, in order to collect them at the finish area.
